Faded Tattoos

I used to think that being passionate about something was all that you needed to get by. I wish my eyes weren’t open to the fact that this is no longer the truth. Seeing is believing, and I’ve seen that I can’t afford (mentally, financially) to keep living as I do.

If you’re wondering why the title “Faded Tattoos,” it’s because I have a number of tattoos on my arms from a time when I made quick decisions. They’re faded now, like the person I used to be – which is not necessarily a bad thing.

The objects in the mirror are not as close as they appear.
So let them go.
