As you may or may not have noticed, I’ve added two pages to this blog — short stories & poetry. I always wanted to do something further with the material that I’ve written since graduating high school. I have two short stories, both under 20 pages, and I have a vast arrangement of poetry. During the coming weeks I’ll be going through my material and adding some things.
Originally I was sceptical about adding my private work online, but then I thought about it more and I think doing so would strengthen me as a writer. I would greatly appreciate some constructive criticism. Once I put some material up I will make a post to let you know that I’ve updated.
I also toyed with changing the theme of this blog today. Problem is, I really enjoy the neat, well put together blog style –small font, nothing too bold, and at least 2 available columns for my twitter feed, archives and pages. I changed the theme 3 times tonight. I came back to Manifest, it’s simply the best. One thing I dislike though, I would really love to be able to change the font color on the links. You know, at the bottom the font is a sandy color – which is nice – but I want something a little more vibrant. I guess I’ll have to fold and buy some custom upgrades. It’s about time I bought the domain, too.
Well I think that’s all from me tonight. I’m having a good time at work, being given more responsibilities/challenges, it’s been fun so far.
